What was the highlight of Meitetsu Inn Chita Handa Ekimae
A great place as a base to explore Nagoya
The location is just fantastic. The main shops you need are right next to the hotel and it is an interesting neighbourhood to explore. It is also next to the train station so you can catch an express and get to the city. The room is small as expected for the price but the bed is comfy and everything was meticulously clean. Having the breakfast included is a bonus and as a vegetarian there enough things to eat. Could probably have done with a little more. The staff at Meitetsu In were so kind and helpful, especially when our child was sick and had to go the hospital.
We didn't dislike anything. I will comment that the facilities are older but still have some nostalgic charm for me. The dryers in the laundry may need to be updated as they were a bit inefficient.

The staff is friendly, and the location is excellent.
Too much noise, not because it's near the station but because you can hear the person beside your room. The breakfast doesn't taste good; other hotels with the same price offer more variety of food for breakfast. The bed is not comfy at all. They have free wifi but no use at all. The signal is too bad that you can’t use your phone if you use their wifi. I end up using my data during my whole stay.
